Caring for the girls rescued from Cambodia’s brothels takes more than a night raid or a day of healthcare. The complex problem takes a lifetime of solutions to bring complete healing. Agape Restoration Center (ARC) is a loving place where rescued girls receive emotional, spiritual and educational wholeness.

But what happens after that?

While girls might have a right perspective of their value, many communities notoriously regard them as worthless, keeping them from relationships and limiting their opportunities for work.

The Agape Training Center (ATC) is an exciting new project that will offer rescued girls a career in garment manufacturing and could incentivize other girls’ escape!

We are currently setting up a factory, preparing for training and working with Apricot Lane for merchandising!

PRAISES

-How great is our God, each day He lifts us up, shows us HE is very evident.

-Some girls we have been asking prayer for have listened to the Holy Spirit’s urgings and have returned to the ministry for safety, help and guidance.

-The team from Korea, New Harvest Ministry, blessed the staff and people of Svay Pak -First Christian Reformed Church in Ripon, CA graciously opened their doors to hear about AIM’s work last Sunday.

-Clayton will be sharing at Courage 2 Be You conference in Roseville, CA this weekend, praise and pray for all ministries working together to end trafficking and exploitation of children and people.

-Our families, staff and supporters are a great source of encouragement and joy.

REQUESTS

-For God’s protection and provision. We have a girl at our center who will be starting interferon treatments for her Hepatitis C. She is very sick and the treatment is costly.  We will provide the care for her and trust God to provide for and heal her.

-For our staff to keep enduring, growing -For the American 5 to work at their studies. For their families.

-For all of our girls, AIM staff and leaders to continue to look to Christ for their sufficiency, for Christ to keep us strong and committed.

-For Renee Burkhalter. She is resigning due to illness. Please pray for God to heal her, for peace and joy in all circumstances. We are grateful for her years of serving and sacrifice, as well as her husband Sonny serving so faithfully.
