“Seek justice. Defend the oppressed”

Isaiah 1:17

Today, there are an estimated 4.8 million children and women forced into sexual exploitation. God knows the name of each one and loves them as his daughters and he has called his people to defend them.

If only 1% of Christians stepped up and joined the fight, we could end this evil together.

At AIM, we work to free the enslaved and protect the vulnerable through our prevention, rescue, restoration, and reintegration programs.
The church has the opportunity to stop human trafficking through compassion, action, and evangelism. People set free by Jesus have a mandate to bring freedom to others. The only institution anointed by God to bring freedom to the enslaved is the church.

GO

Come to Cambodia and visit our programs to see first-hand the transformation of God’s love in the lives of survivors and community members.

Build relationships and learn more about the anti-trafficking work through a vision trip or engage your team in mission work through our community outreach and at our kids clubs, school, and more!

Your church can rescue a girl from sex trafficking during service or at an event. It only takes $1,000 to rescue a girl from trafficking. By encouraging your congregation to donate together, your church can collectively fund the rescues of children in need right now!

We promise we’ll never solicit your congregation outside these events and will only send amazing impact updates they helped fund.

We employ the survivors we rescue so they never are trafficked again. By purchasing survivor-made shirts, bags, jewelry, and custom shirts for your next sermon series or event, you are directly protecting them by ensuring they have safe and sustainable employment.

We also have a pop-up shop and can visit your church and provide an opportunity for your congregation to support these survivors!

Agape International Missions works holistically to end trafficking by protecting girls, rescuing the exploited, and empowering survivors.

Will you join us and many others?

It takes on a number of different looks. Many of our partners are financially supporting the efforts of AIM. Some of our partners support our team on the ground in Cambodia. We see those who actively advocate for AIM as partners as well. From the AIM side of things we ensure you know how we’re using the resources entrusted to us to fight human trafficking. We will share stories, videos, photos, and more to highlight and celebrate the work being done on the ground.

No. The Freedom Experience is a free event meant to blend in with your weekend experience or special event. A part of the Freedom Experience is an invitation to financially give toward the rescuing of girls entrapped in sex trafficking. Don’t worry, we will not be making asks beyond the event!

Awareness. We feel like the best place to start is growing in your understanding of the issue and what we’re doing to combat it. We have a number of online resources to give you a glimpse. If you’re seriously considering partnering with AIM we believe your best first step is to go on one of our Learning and Experience trips to gain an in-person perspective of how God is moving through AIM.

The International Labor Organization estimates that there are over 40 million people living in modern-day slavery. In 2016, 4.8 million were estimated to be victims of forced sexual exploitation. Total profits from sex trafficking worldwide were estimated at $99 billion, with the Asia-Pacific region being the most active area in the world for this horrible practice.

In Cambodia, on a daily basis, we witness firsthand that sex trafficking of adults and children is prolific – sometimes in very obvious and visible ways, but more often as part of a dark, underground economy. You can learn more about human trafficking, sex trafficking, and why Cambodia here.
